Return and Refund Policy – Baume Shop Sàrl

Scope

This policy applies to all orders placed on baume-shop.com and shipped to Switzerland or France.


Return Window

You have 14 days from the date of receipt of your order to notify us of your wish to return an item. This applies to all orders, whether shipped to Switzerland or France, and is compliant with the right of withdrawal under European Directive 2011/83/EU for buyers in France, as well as the provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations (art. 40d ff CO) for buyers in Switzerland.


Eligibility Conditions

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Be in the same condition as when you received it: unworn, unused, and unwashed;
  • Include its original tags, still attached;
  • Be returned in its original packaging;
  • Be accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase.

Any item returned without a prior accepted return request will not be processed.


Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items are excluded from the right of return:

  • Personal care, intimate hygiene, and beauty products (period underwear, reusable protections, body care, lubricants, etc.) once unsealed or tried on;
  • Perishable goods;
  • Personalised or made-to-order products;
  • Gift cards.

These exclusions are in accordance with Article 16 of European Directive 2011/83/EU and Swiss hygiene protection standards. They are indicated on each relevant product page.

Important note for buyers in France: the 14-day right of withdrawal applies to all items, including those purchased on sale or at a discounted price, except for the categories listed above when they have been unsealed. Sale or promotional items cannot therefore be excluded from the right of withdrawal.


Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon receipt. If your item is defective, damaged upon delivery, or does not match your order, contact us immediately at contact@baume-shop.com, providing your order number and photos of the issue.

In such cases, return shipping costs are fully covered by Baume Shop, and we will offer you a replacement or a full refund at your preference.


Return Process

  1. Send your return request to contact@baume-shop.com, including your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. We will confirm the eligibility of your return within 2 business days and provide you with shipping instructions.
  3. Send the item to: Baume Shop Sàrl, Rue de la Mairie 2, 1207 Geneva, Switzerland.
  4. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will notify you of the refund decision.

Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the following cases:

  • Defective or damaged item upon delivery;
  • Error on our part (wrong item shipped).

Original shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases of error or defect on our part.


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. To receive a different item, please return the item following the process above and place a new separate order once your return has been accepted.


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or card issuer may require additional time for the amount to appear on your statement.

If you have not received your refund after 15 business days following the approval confirmation, please contact us at contact@baume-shop.com.
